• What happens when we are able to automate all aspects of life?
• What is the right balance between making choices versus being bothered by the friction of unnecessary decisions?
• We do not want to worry about certain things
  • and also, we do want to worry about other things
  • to the extent that we feel less human when we aren't able to worry about those things
  • (e.g. elderly, very young humans)
• Is it satisfying to watch something grow beyond your own guidance? to be successful without you?
• What is value; what is the value of labor, of genuis?
• Have we - as humans - embedded all our concept of value within our social networks?
  • if all money were destroyed, would the wealthy remain wealthy?
  • and if so, how not unless by their social connections?
